Animal and Wildlife Related Clubs and Societies
There are many UK clubs and societies which focus on both native species and captive exotics. These clubs provide vital information and tools in which members can use to develop their understanding of the species or animal groups of their interest. In turn this promotes the future progression of the area of study and protection of the species involved.
British Tarantula Society
The BTS aims to promote and encourage of responsible husbandry, research, captive breeding and conservation of theraphosids, scorpions and associated fauna.
International Herpetological Society
The I.H.S. currently caters for approximately 750 members both in the UK and overseas. They are committed to the ongoing research and propagation of all reptile, amphibian and chelonian species.
