Wildlife Related Clubs, Groups and Societies
There are many UK clubs and societies which focus on native species. These clubs provide vital information and tools in which members can use to develop their understanding of the species or animal groups of their interest. In turn this promotes the future progression of the area of study and protection of the species involved.
Tice's Meadow Bird Group
Tice's Meadow Bird Group maintains and documents the species found on a newly developed nature reserve on the site of the former Farnham Quarry.

Welsh Ornithological Society
The Welsh Ornithological Society is an organisation which promotes the study and conservation of birds in Wales. Each year it organises a conference and publishes two issues of the journal Welsh Birds.

Scotland Ornithology Club
The Scottish Ornithologists' Club (SOC) was established by a group of Scottish ornithologists who met together in the Royal Scottish Geographical Society 1936. It exists to promote the study, enjoyment and conservation of wild birds and their habitats across Scotland.

Gloucestershire Raptor Monitoring Group
They record and monitor various raptor species in Gloucestershire. Improving knowledge on annual breeding of these species and other interesting behaviours. They also help increase awareness and contribute to conservation.

Cornwall Bird Watching and Preservation Society
Alongside research and recording bird sightings they manage and maintain several bird watching hides on and off reserves around Cornwall. They also actively manage land on smaller reserves the larger organisations cannot.

Scilly Pelagics
Scilly Pelagics is dedicated to giving wildlife-watchers the best seabirding experiences in the UK, providing a unique opportunity to watch common and rare birds around the waters of the Scilly isles. They help and aid in research of these birds too.

The Shearwaters range, features all of the 5 regular Shearwater species encountered throughout the Pelagic season around the Isles of Scilly.
There are just 100 of each available, the majority of which will only be available on the actual Pelagic boat trips.
Penrith & District Red Squirrel Group
They work to conserve red squirrels by feeding, improving habitat and advising on timing of timber operations to avoid breeding season in the Penrith and surrounding areas.

The county bird society for Essex that promote birdwatching for the benefit of the public, conservation, education, knowledge and protection in relation to wild birds within Essex and much of N.E. London.
Sussex Ornithological Society
Wealden Bird Club
The SOS supports projects which help preserve wild birds in and around Sussex. These may vary from funding bird boxes to land purchases.
